At Center for Pain Management, our mission is to provide top-quality, compassionate interventional management for people in pain. We are currently looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our Bemidji team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the diagnosis and treatment of pain-related conditions, as well as the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
Working under the guidance of the physician, you will:
Conduct follow-up visits independently, consistent with the organization’s guidelines.
Assess and diagnose patient's pain levels.
Develop and implement treatment plans and periodically assess medical needs and response to treatment for pain management.
Prescribe medications to treat pain.
Educate patients on pain management techniques.
Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Provide emotional support to patients and families dealing with chronic pain.
Performs approved clinical procedures after appropriate training, such as:
Interventional pain modalities
Joint injections
Peripheral nerve injections
Trigger point injections
We require the following:
Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner applicants must have certification or degree from an accredited school and an active license.
Possession of or eligibility to be granted, a valid state license, DEA and NPI.
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
