There’s still room for you! ❤️‍🩹

Support groups can help empower women recovering from narcissistic abuse by fostering emotional healing, rebuilding self-worth, and equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to break harmful relational patterns and cultivate healthy, authentic connections. Meetings will be facilitated by Mary Beth Laburda, LMHC on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6-730pm and will include both psychoeducation and discussion.

Below are the 6 general topics we will cover:

10/8/25- Understanding Narcissist Abuse 🧠

11/12/25- Breaking the Trauma Bond ❌

12/10/25- Rebuilding Boundaries and Self-Trust 🔨

1/14/25- Managing Guilt and Shame ⚖️

2/11/25- Creating Safe and Healthy Connections ☮️

3/11/25- Empowered Living Beyond Survival ☀️

These topics can serve as a foundation for meaningful discussions and support within the group. We will encourage active listening, empathy, and confidentiality to foster a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

🍂✨ Hello October! ✨🍂

We’re pressing pause on our regularly scheduled mental health content today to celebrate the first day of October 🍁

Even though here in Florida the cooler temps take their time arriving, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the season anyway!

Here’s to a fresh month filled with balance, beauty, and maybe a pumpkin spice scented candle. 🎃

Our next workshop is just around the corner!
Register by October 10th. Please note: This is an afternoon workshop.

Presented by Kellie Garza, LMHC, CST, Q.S.

Kellie brings over 20 years of trauma-focused psychotherapy experience and advanced postgraduate training in dissociation and s*x therapy. This interactive three-hour workshop offers a clear, step-by-step protocol to identify and treat somatic symptoms, unconscious triggers, and trauma body memories. You’ll learn how to recognize and work compassionately with distinct ego-states or “parts,” translate body sensations into clinical interventions, and safely guide clients through unresolved somatic material. Kellie’s roles as a Certified S*x Therapist, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Director of Education for Florida Mental Health Licensure Services ensure the training is practice-oriented and clinically relevant. The workshop emphasizes hands-on exercises, case examples, and skills you can use immediately in session. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with concrete techniques to address trauma-related body memories and support clients’ nervous-system regulation. Space is limited, reserve your spot to deepen your somatic clinical toolkit and learn compassionate, effective ways to work with parts.

Being a therapist is more than a career. It’s an honor. 🥹

At Pamper Your Mind, we’re grateful every day that our patients trust us with their stories. The human connection we share is humbling, powerful, and a reminder of why this work is always worth it. ❤️‍🩹

📱✨ The Importance of a Digital Detox ✨📱

We live in a world that’s always “on.” While technology keeps us connected, too much screen time can leave us drained, distracted, and disconnected from ourselves. That’s where a digital detox comes in. 🌿

Taking intentional breaks from your devices can:
✅ Reduce stress and overwhelm
✅ Improve focus and productivity
✅ Strengthen relationships
✅ Boost creativity and sleep quality

Steps to Take a Digital Detox:
1️⃣ Set “no phone” zones like the dinner table or bedroom.
2️⃣ Schedule device-free times even just an hour a day.
3️⃣ Turn off non-essential notifications.
4️⃣ Swap screen time for real-world activities (reading, walking, journaling).
5️⃣ Let friends/family know you’re unplugging, so they can support you.

💡 Remember: It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Even small breaks can make a big difference for your mental health.
