We welcomed around ONE HUNDRED people to sing sea shanties with us yesterday! We had a wonderful time, with people of all ages and experiences joining in.

Led by shantyman Paul Webster, we sang "Lowlands Away," "Roll the Old Chariot Along," and "Mingulay Boat Song."

There'll be more shanties and work songs in December! There is much singing to do.

This raku work was made in about 2014. Each tile is 12" square. It had been in at least two shows and never sold. I have enjoyed it on mu studio wall until today when it found a very excited new owner!!

I was talking to someone today who remembered this work and had loved it and had wanted to buy it at the time. When I told them I still had it they were over the moon excited!!
