Please, if you live in Minnesota and are HIV positive or at risk please attend. We need you… We need you to represent your demographic. Without you there… Without your voice your demographic is not heard. I personally can do my best to represent all people… But I only live in a couple of demographics that are represented in the HIV community. Again if you want your demographic to be heard you need to be there and bring others as well. This platform is for us all of us living with HIV or at risk for HIV in the state of Minnesota. Very few people in this country get opportunities to have their voice heard like this. Again, you can private message me with your email and or telephone number and I will forward it to the appropriate person to get you on a reminder list for these meetings. It will also give you the opportunity to receive informational emails throughout the year. Thank you for your consideration and for taking the time to be involved in your own health care outcome

I could compare it to cancer like you did but honestly those are two completely different diseases (yes diseases) that literally cannot be compared because of the vast differences.

Not So Fast: Do People With HIV Really Experience Accelerated Aging?

Recent talk about HIV and aging has almost always been scary. A number of studies conclude that people living with HIV have so-called "accelerated aging" -- meaning they will suffer heart attacks, strokes, cancers, and osteoporosis more often and sooner than those without HIV.

I'm not posting this because it's LGBTQ. I'm posting it because I think we can all learn from it. Especially dealing with our HIV! I know we still need to be careful but I don't think we ever need to be ashamed.
