π π₯° WHEN A PIECE OF NATURE JOINS YOU FOR EARTHING, JOIN US FOR AN EARTH DAY CLASS, AND YES, EARTH CAN BE A VERB:
I paused to practice earthing during my daily americano date with nature, and noticed this sweet leaf who decided to come with for the ride.
I LOVE when this happens! A twig, baby pinecone, leaves and my absolute favorite...dandelions...tend to show up now and then.
It always makes me giggle π.
Earthing has come up a lot in conversation lately.
At our weekly Yoga session Guardian 4 Heroes Non-Profit, I told the students about an Earth Day class I will be holding next Wednesday 6:30-7pm (which you are all invited to) on the beautiful Eagle's Nest/Guardian 4 Heroes Non-Profit property) where we will practice earthing, gentle movement and breathwork, while feeling so much gratitude for Mother Nature.
My friend Tony Duran Vega laughed and said, "You just made Earth a verb. What!?!"
I said, "Wait have any of you heard of Earthing?"
They all said no.
I also met a young guy on a trail while I was walking barefoot yesterday.
We said hi to eachother, he looked at my feet and said, "Wait. You're barefoot?" He looked confused.
So did the softball girls I passed while on the same walk as they were leaving practice.
I explained to all of these curious people, who no-doubtedly thought I was a weirdo, that being barefoot on the Earth is so good for you! I suggested they look it up.
Earthing...connecting with the Earth with bare hands, feet or whole body has tremendous health benefits and can help with a long list of health conditions.
Insomnia
Pain
Auto Immune Disorders
Anxiety
Depression
Stress
And so much more!
Plugging into the energy of Earth (which is literally a battery) helps reduce inflammation and balances our systems, creating harmony.
I started practicing Earthing while desperately searching for answers and help during a health crash 7 years ago.
It has made a huge difference!
So...Earthing. Try it!
Now you know she is a noun and a verb...one that an change your life in beautiful ways!
Be Inspired & Enjoy the Journey!
