Music & Memories
Broadcast for Sunday Oct 5, 2025
Covering the deaths from Oct 5-11, 2025

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

October is here and displaying summer weather. As we remember our loved ones this week let's go back to their heaven date and what was the weather like then? Our grief pain and emotions are as unpredictable as the weather. Sunshine and hot one day, rain and cold the next. Our human makeup follows those ups and downs of the weather. The length of time your loved one is gone never makes a difference, one week or ten years, you loved, and they loved you in return; you miss them no matter how long. The pain has softened but you'll always have that hole in your heart called love. Celebrate their legacy!

This program is dedicated to the memory of:

Covering the deaths from Sept 28-Oct 4, 2025

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

Another month is fading away, and we are welcoming October and all its beauty! By now you are either working on a new normal or maintaining it. Our world gets turned upside down when we lose someone dear to our hearts. Expressing our emotions out loud is a very healthy way to grief. Whether you share those emotions with a trusted friend / family or someone who doesn't know you, it helps to make the grief pain a little less painful and you may even find some relief. You all have stories to share as does our loved one. Keep their legacy alive and yes, tears and laughter are healthy for you too!

Music & Memories
Broadcast for Sunday Sept 21, 2025
Covering the deaths from Sept 21-27, 2025

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

Tomorrow the 22nd brings the first day of Autumn. Have you ever wanted the world to slow down so you could catch up? When we lose someone we love to death, our world has changed but the rest of the world keeps turning. This becomes a reminder that as we were born, we also will finish the circle with our death. That's where our legacy is so important and you, the survivor, have become the storyteller to keep that legacy alive. Our loved ones were on this earth and left footprints. If we don't tell their stories and share their memories, their footprints start to fade. Celebrate your loved one always and especially now on their anniversary heaven day!
