In addition, Maplewood offers an ongoing Grief Support Group, held on the third Tuesday of each month, providing a safe and compassionate environment to share, listen, and heal together.

Today at Maplewood, we take a moment to recognize and thank the dedicated physicians who round with our residents and continue to care for them throughout their healthcare journey.

Many of these doctors have known our residents for years, following their health, understanding their stories, and building relationships that go far beyond a chart or diagnosis. That continuity of care means so much to our residents, their families, and our team.

We know how busy a physician’s schedule can be, which makes it even more meaningful that they take the time to come to Maplewood and make what feels like a modern-day “house call.” Their willingness to share their time, expertise, and compassion ensures our residents receive attentive, personalized care right where they live.

Because of their dedication, our residents benefit from trusted medical guidance, continuity of care, and the comfort of familiar faces who truly understand their health journey.

To the physicians who partner with Maplewood: thank you for your commitment, your knowledge, and the care you provide to those we serve. We are grateful for the role you play in helping our residents live with comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

We had a lot of fun with the SPHS career fair attendees. We played an Axe throwing game. As was mentioned, when a person has goals or an eye on the target there is a high probability of success. We had a lot of bullseyes and 3 exes on the target.

You will see a monthly activities calendar showcasing times of the scheduled activities. Some use it to plan when to visit other use it to be able to join in the fun.
On the activities calendar was National Wear Purple Day. It represents Epilepsy Awareness day. We were able to take a picture of some staff members who joined in the fun. Don't you just love that! to creating fun

The community is invited to attend the free Alzheimers and Dementia Caregiver Support Group. We meet at Maplewood, 245 Sycamore St, Sauk City, WI 53583, every 4th Tuesday from 3-4:00 PM. The next meeting will be held March 24, 2026. Contact Theresa Grimes for more information.
