“Doug is the quiet type who can sometimes blend into the surroundings but every encounter I've had with him has been wonderful, he finds out what needs to be done and makes it happen with minimal interruption to anyone's days. He's kind and courteous to staff and patients, Doug is one of those people who can stop and start as the urgency in various projects fluctuate. It doesn't matter what the task is, I've never seen him complain or be a bit grumpy, things need to get done and he's here to work. We are very lucky to have such an amazing maintence staff top to bottom, but I'd love to see Doug recognized for doing outstanding work, his attention to detail, and his overall good humor. He's one of those people who makes the Health Center a better place.”

‼️Sault Tribe Health Centers closings and delays‼️

Due to inclement weather, the following Sault Tribe Health clinics will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17: Marquette, Munising, Gladstone, Escanaba, Manistique, Newberry, Hessel, DeTour and St. Ignace.

The Sault Ste. Marie health clinic will be on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, opening at 10 a.m.

Due to inclement weather, Manistique, Gladstone, Marquette, Munising, Newberry, St. Ignace, Hessel and Detour Sault Tribe health clinics will close at 12 p.m. today, Friday, March 13, 2026.
