Moving into my older years, I've recently both expanded my horizons and narrowed my focus. The pandemic caused me to move my classes, workshops and services to the internet which has opened amazing new possibilities at the same time I've decided to focus my attention on older women - our ups and downs, joys and challenges. As of Spring, 2022, I will offer an AgeWiseWomen's in-person retreat. I pra

cticed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker beginning in 1980. My approach was very "holistic" from the beginning. I began integrating my studies and trainings in Mindfulness Meditation, Buddhist Psychology, Yoga Therapy and Health and Wellness into my practice and have now gathered all of it together as I re-define myself as a Mentor and Teacher. I am beyond delighted to have created www.agewisewomen.com and, if you are a woman over 60, I have also started a private Facebook Group just for us. Sleeping in the Forest by Mary Oliver

I thought the earth
remembered me, she
took me back so tenderly, arranging
her dark skirts, her pockets
full of lichens and seeds. I slept
as never before, a stone
on the riverbed, nothing
between me and the white fire of the stars
but my thoughts, and they floated
light as moths among the branches
