HE IS RISEN 🙏🏼✝️✨🪨
Matthew 28:6-7 "He is not here (in the tomb); he has risen, just as he said! Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
During yesterdays Easter service, my pastor spoke on this verse above, the scripture is telling us - COME, you are invited to witness and experience! SEE, it is real, he has risen from the grave! GO, you have been freed to live your life for God, in his image, and have eternal life through him! TELL, spread the good news, Jesus is for everyone!
Jesus' death and resurrection has been documented and proven many times throughout study and history, not just within the Bible. This true story was witnessed by hundreds of people. God allowed himself (his son) to come to Earth in the human form of Jesus, to live a perfect life, die a criminals tortuous death, and overcome the grave to fulfill the prophecy! Jesus' resurrection was for ALL to have eternal life with our Father.
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Father we thank you for your Grace, Mercy, and Atonement. I pray discernment in our lives, in our communities, within our country and its leaders, and all across your land. Matthew 18:3 directs us to have childlike faith. We come to you today, our heavenly creator and Father in obedience and humility, looking to you and you alone for the truth. I pray your hand rest upon us, as we willing accept your guidance to be used how you see fit. That we have the strength to defeat the distractions of the enemy and fix our eyes on you; Your will be done! AMEN!
