October is National AAC Awareness Month!

Join us in celebrating and empowering voices of all kinds through Augmentative and Alternative Communication! 🙌 AAC opens doors, builds connections, and gives everyone the power to express themselves.

💬 What is AAC? It’s a range of tools and strategies, like picture boards and speech-generating devices, that help individuals with communication challenges share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

At Sonshine we have several therapists specializing in AAC devices and we are here to help your child find their voice.

Bethany, owner of Sonshine and Olivia, Patient Care Coordinator enjoyed speaking to students .gsuarmstrong on Tuesday about volunteer opportunities, completing clinical fellowships and what to look for when starting a new job as an SLP.

We value our relationships with students and pride ourselves in being a teaching clinic right here in Savannah for all students pursuing speech, OT, or PT.
