So sad and horrid!

At Phillips State Prison last week, Mr. Terry Nichols allegedly set a fire in G building.

After cutting his arm, staff took him to medical. Then, prison officials locked him down in C building.

Mr. Nichols cut his stomach over the weekend, and word spread among the majority of the prison population.

However, because they were mad at him for setting the fire, they refused to take Mr. Nichols to the doctor.

Mr. Nichols died yesterday, 10/14/25.

According to multiple sources Mr. Nichols suffered from mental illness.

Phillips State Prison is classified as a mental health facility. While not all offenders housed there suffer from MH. Majority of the population is on a MH caseload.

Jodie Turner, 28, a mother of a 10-year-old, died at GDC’s Arrendale prison. Her family said they were extorted and she was beaten. GDC said there was no foul play.
