IBHAD is an 8-hr or 16-hr class designed to offer first responders and other community partners with a better understanding of mental illness, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases. Individuals that complete this class will be able to identify available community resources, have an overview of national and state mental health laws and understand basic principles of de-escalation.
