10/25/25~Today we honor and celebrate the life of Matthew Alexander Pierce. A native of Portal and Georgia Southern graduate, Matthew was a flight attendant with Frontier Airlines while pursuit his Master’s. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues. His family chose to honor his life with a Trinity White Dove Release. We send our love, hugs, kisses and tears on the wings of those doves. 10-11-25~This past Saturday we celebrated the amazing life of Mother Sophie Edward Simmons. She passed just 10 days before her 101 birthday. What a wonderful blessed life she lived. She was a native to the Garden City/Savannah area and a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church for 70 years. As her family and friends gathered to pay their respects, her 9 children released White Doves to celebrate their momma and her life. That’s exactly who Mr. Cody James Ellison, Jr. was. Passing at the age of 92, he leaves a long legacy behind him and will be missed dearly. 9/20/25~I had the honor to be a part of celebrating the 100th Heavenly Birthday of Ms. Dorothy Elizabeth Ravenell. Her family and friends gathered at the cemetery to not only honor her life but family members that had passed too. And their ancestors who are also buried at this beautiful cemetery by the river in the lowcountry. The Gullah Kinfolk Theater opened the memorial service with a song and dance and also ended the service. It was a beautiful tribute to an amazing woman who lived a full happy life until the age of 95. And what a celebration for her. Rest in Peace Ms. Dot as she was know by, your legacy will live in forever by so many. 🤍🕊️🤍🕊️🤍🕊️🤍🕊️🤍
