My friend and colleague from Redwood Spring Acupuncture CT Holman has his annual prediction for this upcoming Chinese New Year (Year of the Fire Horse), which will begin in the month of February. This year will require extra attention towards balancing the Fire Element, which governs the Heart, Pericardium and Small Intestine organs and channels. Qigong, dietary modification, emotional regulation, extra rest and stress reduction are all supportive activities to pay extra attention to this coming year. Hey everyone tomorrow is the last day for discount pricing for the National Qigong Association conference in our local Savannah Community. The conference takes place on Tuesday September 24th through Thursday September 26th and is absolutely worth attending if you have any interest in Qigong, Tai Chi, mind body movement based meditative practices and healing. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcomed and many of my teachers will be presenting (John Munro, Francesco Garripolli,, Gayl Hubatch, Jessica Kolbe) as well as other teachers I am excited about learning from. There are some very exciting opportunities related to Qigong in Savannah. The NQA National Qigong Association is going to have their first live conference since 2019 in Savannah, Georgia on September 24th-26th 2024!

Members of the NQA have access to all of the qi talk archives and the new syner-qi events that will be happening monthly and there are other discounts available with an active membership. https://www.nqa.org/membership.

Secondly, Francesco Garripoli will be involved with the next October qi talk and syner-qi event and he will be in Savannah teaching a live workshop on November 18th from 10am to 3pm at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (cost $80). I studied with Francesco at the 2018 NQA conference and highly recommend his workshops. I will definitely be attending Francesco’s live event and the 2024 conference. I have been a member of the NQA since 2018 and attended 1 live and 1 virtual conference, both events were amazing!
