A love letter to the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

8 years of building this business. 6 of those with a team. And I love what I’ve built. I need to say that first because the rest is going to be honest.

I started in a small studio by myself in 2017. Opened a full service spa before covid in 2020. Grew to two locations in 2022. Proud to have brought it back all under one roof in 2025.

I’m finally starting to see what I’ve been building toward.But nobody tells you what this actually costs.

This business is the first thing on my mind when I wake up and the last before I sleep. Nobody sees payroll drop every two weeks and make your stomach flip. People have no idea what the margins in this industry actually look like. Tax season feels like punishment for having a good year.

I’ve cried. A lot. I’ve run the numbers over and over. Loaned the business my own paycheck. I’ve worked 10+ hour days and walked in the door past 9pm. I’m tired.

I’ve dealt with wrong fits, oversteps, gossip — people creating narratives while I was too busy running things to defend myself.

But if you’re lucky like me — you eventually find a few good people who love and support you. A team that respects each other. And a partner who holds it all down at home. My wife is a huge reason I’m still standing.

I’m still learning how to be a good leader. Still learning how to be healthy in the middle of the chaos. Still teaching myself to let s**t go — and fast. Still learning to stand up for myself and my business.

2026 is about being clear and being kind. Clear in my numbers. Clear in my goals.

I’m expanding my esthetician trainings. I’m speaking on panels. I’m building real stability and sustainability.

But this year is also about personal freedom. Community advocacy. Time with the people I love. Space to actually live.

Thank you to my team, my clients, my mentors, my family, my friends, and my wife.

Celebrating 6 years (but also more like 8) of TEMPLE- keeping it raw and real… with lots of gratitude. 💌

This kind of result doesn’t happen overnight. Here’s what goes into it:

✦ A minimum of two weeks of dedicated home care prep

✦ Barrier repair first, if needed

✦ We build up gradually — starting with superficial and medium peels before going deeper

When you finally get there? The results speak for themselves.

We typically only perform these advanced peels 1–2 times a year, and they’re best done in the cooler months.

During warmer months, it’s all about protection, maintenance, and consistent monthly facial treatments.
