Our Earth Day celebration is continuing with a project that will grow over time! 🌱
Today we created seed starters using parchment paper, soil, and seeds- rolled them up into little bundles that we'll watch sprout in the coming days. Once they're ready, we'll plant them and enjoy seeing them grow into beautiful flowers. 🌼

Happy Earth Day🌎💚
Our Harmony Square residents spent time in the courtyard refreshing our garden, replanting and updating planters with seasonal flowers and herbs! From the fragrance of the herbs to the feel of the soil, it was a wonderful sensory experience that engaged sight, touch, and smell.
This group project brought lots of smiles and a shared sense of accomplishment. A beautiful way to celebrate the day together.

Our residents loaded up the bus and headed to Tybee Island for a perfect day out, starting with a delicious lunch at Fannie’s followed by a relaxing stroll along the boardwalk. A few adventurous souls even kicked off their shoes and let their toes sink into the sand! This is one of those outings we look forward to every year when the weather is just right (not too hot, not too cold0) just perfect for enjoying the coast together. If you missed this trip, don’t worry… we’ll be back when the season is right again, so be ready to join us next time! 💛

We shook things up with a Mocktail Happy Hour, and it was a hit! 🍹 Residents had the chance to mix and match their own creations using classic favorites like ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, fresh fruit juices, mint, rosemary, and cherries, and more. It turned into a fun, refreshing DIY taste test where everyone could create a drink that fit their own flavor. The crowd favorite? A simple (but delicious!) mix of ginger ale, grenadine, a splash of lime, and a cherry on top. Cheers to good company and even better flavors! 💛

Our Fun with Beads group looked a little different this time, our usual pro was out, but our substitute said, “I know what beads are, I know what fun is… we’ll figure it out!”

And that’s exactly what we did! 😄

Keychains turned out to be the perfect first-time project, and with a little creativity (and teamwork), everyone made something unique. Proof that sometimes the best fun comes from just jumping in and giving it a try!

You know the breakfast is good when you only get one picture! 😄

We tried a new spot, Loc Chicken & Waffles, and it did not disappoint. After a great meal, we headed over to Lake Mayer for a relaxing walk and to take in the scenery.

That’s the best part of a breakfast outing- good food, good company, and plenty of time to enjoy the morning together.

It was National Caramel Popcorn Day, and we celebrated with a little sweet and salty fun! 🍿

We enjoyed classic caramel popcorn, cheddar caramel mix, and even reminisced about Cracker Jack days, complete with jokes about whether there were any surprises in the bag.

Our Harmony Square residents joined in with caramel pop cakes and enjoyed the treat just as much.
