✨ What to Expect in a Pelvic Floor Therapy Session ✨

If you’ve never had pelvic floor therapy before, it can feel a little mysterious — but it’s really just gentle, specialized massage therapy for the muscles that support your bladder, uterus, and hips. Here’s how a typical session flows:

💬 We Talk First
We’ll start with a conversation about your health, your symptoms, and your goals. Nothing happens until you feel comfortable and ready.

📚 Understanding Your Body
I’ll explain how the pelvic floor works and why these muscles affect things like bladder control, pain, posture, and even intimacy.

🪞 Checking How Things Move
We’ll look at posture, breathing, and hip movement — since everything in the body is connected.

✋ Internal Work (Only with Consent)
I use a gloved, lubricated finger inside the va**na to gently feel how your pelvic floor muscles are working. This is never about a medical exam — it’s about checking for tension, weakness, or areas that need some release.

💆 Gentle Hands-On Therapy
Just like getting knots worked out of your back, sometimes these muscles need soft release techniques to help them relax and function better.
