Words have power. Too often, we fall into the trap of using deficit language - focusing on what someone can’t do. Think about how you’d describe yourself, a colleague, close friend or family member. You’d highlight their qualities, interests, and strengths. We should always extend this same courtesy to everyone. By choosing our words with care and respect, we can foster a more inclusive world for everyone.

It was GREAT to see everyone at Bryan County Schools Community Resource Fair and Very Special Arts Festival on Saturday, November 2 at Hill Primary School. We were grateful to meet, greet, and share information about local and state disability services.
