Hammond for Hope Foundation Announces Three New
Board Members
Meghan Nunn, Rhonda Gordy, and Champ Hammond Join Nearly 50-Year-Old Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA — The Hammond for Hope Foundation, a long-standing 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization serving the Savannah region for nearly 50 years, is proud to
announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Meghan Nunn,
Rhonda Gordy, and Champ Hammond.
These new appointments reflect the Foundation’s continued commitment to expanding its
impact and strengthening its mission to support critical programs and services that uplift
individuals and families across Coastal Georgia.
The Hammond for Hope Foundation has a long history of supporting organizations and
initiatives that improve communication access and educational opportunity, including ongoing
support for the Savannah Speech and Hearing Center, the Sound Start Preschool, and
college scholarship programs, along with other charitable efforts that serve the Savannah
community.
“We are excited to welcome Meghan, Rhonda, and Champ to the board,” said Chris
Hammond, CEO of the Hammond for Hope Foundation. “Each of them brings a unique
background, a deep passion for service, and a shared commitment to improving lives in the
Savannah area. Their leadership will help us continue to build on the Foundation’s strong
legacy and expand our reach.”
The current Board of Directors includes:

With these new additions, the Hammond for Hope Foundation looks forward to continuing its
mission of supporting meaningful community partnerships and delivering lasting impact
through education, speech and hearing services, and local philanthropic initiatives.
