Most types of glaucoma progress silently—with no pain, no early warning signs, and no obvious vision changes. By the time symptoms appear, permanent vision loss may have already occurred. 🌸 It’s Allergy Season! Here’s What You Should Know 👁️

Did you know seasonal allergies can make existing eye conditions worse? 😦
For patients with dry eye, conjunctivitis, or glaucoma, allergy symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling can increase discomfort—or interfere with treatment.

We recommend preservative free artificial tears and drops like pataday for itchiness 💧 We also recommend otc oral antihistamines like cetirizine or fexofenadine. Be careful to stay clear of any visine or clear eyes or any product that relieves redness- they may make the problem worse. 👁️
