We are pleased to announce the return of the free Movement Disorder Luncheon in Statesboro. The 3rd annual event will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro, located at 16942 Highway 67 in Statesboro, GA. The event will begin at 9:00 and will consist of 3 speakers, catered lunch, and informational brochures to reference about topics discussed throughout the day. We plan to finish by 2:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

We will have speakers from St. Joseph’s/Candler present on primary care, audiology, and sleep disorders/respiratory care needs as they relate to Movement Disorders. There is no cost to attend but registration is required. Please register as soon as possible so we have an accurate count for food. Simply email HARNEKA@sjchs.org to register.

Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EDT. This program is free and open to people with Parkinson’s disease, care partners, family members, healthcare providers and anyone else in the community who is interested in learning more. We have a stellar lineup of speakers and panelists, including Dr. Laurie Mischley who is coming all the way from Seattle to present on “Lifestyle Modification as a Therapeutic Strategy.” We also have Dr. Jorge Juncos presenting on his latest research related to “Vibro-tactile Stimulation in Parkinson’s Disease.” We will hear from other Atlanta-area experts during the symposium and look forward to an incredible day together.
