I work with a number of clients that find themselves overwhelmed by circumstances, struggling to cope. Sometimes people struggle so much that they feel like the only way to manage is by or even feeling . I teach clients skills to manage difficult emotions during such . I find that it helps to have a “kit” that has items that compliment the that clients are learning in . If clients are extremely , and/or don’t have the ability/resources to acquire these items on their own, I provide them with a kit to get started.

Where did the name come from? Once, I provided a client with a similar kit. The client said, “Thanks for my Oh Sh*t Kit.” The name stuck after that.
