Shiloh Rain Whitten is a 2025 Hardin County High School Honors Graduate. She is the daughter of Adam and Cassie Whitten. She is a HCHS Youth Leadership graduate. She has played softball for HCHS lady Tigers for 4 years, 1 year as lady Tigers basketball manager, and 3 years of HCHS soccer. After graduation Shiloh plans to attend Modern Academy of Cosmetology.

Congratulations to Sunshine Renfro, RN, PCM for winning the Quarter One Living Our Purpose Award fore Outstanding Field Leader!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Sunshine was nominated by her coworkers and chosen out of hundreds of employees for this award across the company.

We surprised her today with a breakfast and most importantly we surprised her by asking her family to attend to watch her accept this award. 🩷

She sets the standard high and works so hard often wearing many hats and is a wonderful nurse and joy to work with! Sunshine, thank you for ALL you do!! Today we celebrated you dear friend!!! You so deserve It!

Miley was a 4 year starter for the varsity softball team at Hardin County High School where she received all district her sophomore year and all district and all tournament her Junior year. Miley also received the Distinguished Athlete award. Miley’s favorite memory is hitting her first high school homerun at the State tournament in Murfreesboro her Freshman year. Miley has a love for the game of softball and plans to continue her softball career at the collegiate level playing for Freed Hardeman University while obtaining her Masters in accounting. Miley is a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah. Miley is very thankful to Hardin County High School, her teachers, and coaches for helping her the past 4 years to become the person she is today and helping her grow academically and athletically to be able to achieve her future dreams. She is the daughter of Justin and Leslie Samples, PTA.

Happy Nurses Week!!! 🩷

There’s something sacred about being invited into someone’s home during one of the most vulnerable times in their life.

In home health, we don’t just treat conditions—we treat people. We walk into living rooms filled with stories, family photos, and quiet battles that most never see. We see the strength it takes for a patient to sit up in bed, the courage behind every step they relearn, and the love in the eyes of a spouse who’s been by their side through it all.

One patient recently said to me, “I don’t know what I’d do without you all.” But the truth is, we’re the lucky ones—to be trusted, to witness healing up close, and to help restore dignity and independence right where people feel safest: home.

Every small progress, every shared laugh, every tear wiped away—it all reminds us that this work is more than a job. It’s a calling.

This is home health.

Matty Long is a 2025 graduate of Hardin County High School. She is graduating 10th in her class with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the VOLS club, Student Council, English Honor Society, Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Vocational Honor Society, Tiger Radio, and Love and Truth Church. She has played volleyball for the Hardin County School System for 7 years and has played travel volleyball for Core Volleyball Club for 2 years. She was chosen all district team and all tournament team for volleyball. She is a Youth Leadership Graduate. She also earned the red cord for blood donation. She was voted Most School Spirit for her class. She plans on attending the University of North Alabama in the fall to major in Exercise Science to set her on the track for Physical Therapy. She is the daughter of Laressa Franks RN.

Gracie is the Vice President of Hosa club, 4 year Secretary of Student council, and member of First Baptist Church of Selmer. After high school, she plans to attend the PTA program at Jackson State Collage. Gracie is the daughter or Wes and Sunshine Renfro, RN, Patient Care Manager at HMC HOME HEALTH. 🎉🎉
