🎻✨ Our Assisted Living residents at Windsor of Savoy enjoyed a very special treat during dinner the other night as the Baier Family String Quartet performed for them.

Music has a wonderful way of bringing back memories, lifting spirits, and creating beautiful moments together. Occasions like these are especially meaningful for residents who love music, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the performance. 💙

For the past few months, we’ve proudly hosted a shoe drop-off in our lobby to support Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls—and now it’s time for the final push! Our goal is to reach 700 pairs of shoes, and we’d love to exceed what we accomplished last year.

The final donation event will take place across the street in the parking lot at:
📍 1602 S. Prospect Ave, Savoy

This special event will include:
🎶 A stage with music (including a big-name surprise performance!)
🏰 Bounce houses
🌮 Food trucks
👟 A chance to see all the shoes collected throughout the District

This will be the last opportunity to donate shoes before they are counted and prepared for shipment to those in need. Businesses and organizations are also welcome to put up tents at no cost—just let the organizers know if you’d like to participate!

Let’s come together once again and make an even bigger impact this year. Bring your new shoes, invite a friend, and help us reach 700 pairs! 💛

While the full pops of color and flowers aren’t quite here yet, they’re coming soon—and they’ll be a beautiful reminder that warmer, brighter days are just around the corner.

Today we’re excited to highlight Jamie Belt, Business Office Coordinator at Windsor of Savoy!

From the Front Desk to the Business Office, Jamie brings warmth, humor, and heart to The Windsor every single day. In her role, she manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting — but she’ll tell you it’s about much more than numbers.

“I think it’s less what I do and more about making sure people know I’m truly tickled to see them every day,” Jamie shared. 💛

Jamie began as a PRN team member at the Front Desk and stepped into the Business Office Coordinator position last year. What she enjoys most? The people. “The job changes minute to minute, but the residents and the staff feel like family.”

As someone who grew up in a Navy family and moved often, Jamie offers this thoughtful advice to those preparing to move: Focus less on what you have and more on what you love — and on what you’ll be gaining in your new home.

We are so grateful for Jamie’s positivity, dedication, and the joy she brings to Windsor of Savoy each day!
