While we hope you and your family have a safe and healthy holiday season, Guthrie is here for you if you need us. We have modified hours for outpatient facilities, walk-in clinics, pharmacies and labs during Christmas and New Year's.

HOSPITALS
All hospitals and 24-hour emergency departments remain fully operational throughout the holidays

MEDICAL OFFICES
• Dec. 24: Open 8 a.m. to noon
• Dec. 25: Closed
• Dec. 31: Normal operating hours
• Jan. 1: Closed

WALK-IN CLINICS
Christmas Eve (Dec. 24):
• Vestal and Chenango Bridge: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Johnson City and Owego: 8 a.m. to noon
• Corning Centerway: 7 a.m. to noon

Christmas Day (Dec. 25):
• All walk-in locations are closed.

New Year's Eve (Dec. 31):
• Vestal, Chenango Bridge, Johnson City and Owego: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Corning Centerway: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

New Year's Day (Jan. 1):
• Vestal and Chenango Bridge walk-in clinics will be open (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). All other walk-in locations are closed.

PHARMACIES AND LABS
All Guthrie pharmacies and labs are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

- Guthrie Cortland Medical Center: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (cafeteria)

Running out of time for holiday shopping and to-dos? Drop your gifts off at one of our hospital locations, and we'll wrap them for you — so you can get back to what you enjoy most.

The Guthrie Veterans Committee is offering free gift wrapping for patients and community members now through Dec. 19, and again on Monday, Dec. 22. Drop off your gifts and pick them up later that same day!

While wrapping is free, donations are welcome to support the Guthrie Veterans Recognition and Awareness Fund. U.S. military ornaments are also available for $10.

We were honored to welcome New York State leaders to the Guthrie Pulse Center for a firsthand look at how we are reimagining care for rural communities.

Thank you to New York State Senator Tom O'Mara, Assemblyman Christopher S. Friend, Assemblyman Josh Jensen, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, and Rep. Joe Sempolinski for spending time with our team and engaging in thoughtful conversations about the challenges facing rural health care.

Their feedback echoed what our caregivers experience every day. The Guthrie Pulse Center is helping us find new, innovative ways to care for patients while supporting the teams who serve them.

We are grateful for their continued partnership and commitment to ensuring rural communities have access to high-quality care, close to home.

🌟 Meet Emily, RN, from Guthrie Lourdes Labor and Delivery! 🌟

Originally from Sayre, Pa., Emily now calls Waverly, N.Y., home. She and her husband love being close to family and enjoy everything the area has to offer—from the Finger Lakes and wineries to concerts and sporting events. 🎶🍷

As a Labor and Delivery nurse, Emily cherishes being part of her patients’ birth stories, providing care through labor, delivery, and postpartum. The most rewarding part? Seeing families return to welcome their second, third, or even fifth babies and watching them grow over the years. 💕
