Located at 204 Desmond Street in downtown Sayre, Zen Den offers a space to grow in a supportive community atmosphere, create balance and find joy that can be found through yoga and wellness activities. Although we don't always fit into the media's portrayal of what yoga is (we laugh, cheer, and celebrate each others accomplishments a bit louder than most), our practice encourages people of all shapes, abilities, and backgrounds to find a place for peace, balance and wellness in this rural community we call home.

Yoga 2020 at Zen Den

2020 has proven to be quite unpredictable. If you had asked any of us in January if our new year resolution included isolating in our homes or mastering the art of social distancing, we would have looked at you like you were crazy.

I closed the studio in mid-March, offered FB Live classes, reopened in June with multiple safety measures in place and live streamed classes. At the end of July, we made the decision to close our location in Athens due to low attendance and the challenge of practicing Yoga while wearing a mask. We will offer classes outside at Elmer Park in Sayre and Teaoga Square Park in Athens for the foreseeable future until our new wellness center is completed at 204 Desmond St. in Sayre.
