Healthy habits grow with children. At home, caregivers should teach kids to brush twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste- a rice grain amount once the first tooth appears until the age of three, then a pea-size amount at the age of three and beyond-help them floss daily. Whether at home or on the go eat a balance diet, fruit and vegetable, and avoid excess sugar.
