Join our eye care team as optometric technician!If you have medical assisting experience this would be a great fit for you! Even if you have no prior experience but you’d love to learn about vision, eye health, eye emergencies and general health conditions, we also offer on-the-job training. You’ll be working directly with patients and assisting our eye doctors in providing compassionate eye care to our wondeful community of patients.
Skills you’ll acquire:
• Screening tests with the latest technology like retinal photography, corneal mapping, and eye pressure.
• Charting in electronic medical records.
• Ordering and inventory of contact lenses.
• Eyeglasses prescription evaluation and verification.
• Specialty testing for eye conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration.
We are offering a full time position: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with no weekends. Great medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits and quarterly bonuses.
