If someone is using the internet to tell you how a strain will make you feel, they're wrong.

There are 2 ways to know, for sure, how a particular strain will effect you: 1. Analyze the test results (which we do!) then make recommendations based on those results, and 2. Try it yourself (which we can help with!).

Buying w**d from a medical dispensary doesn't always mean it's safe to smoke.

"Of the reports filed between September 9 and September 11, twenty listed at least one or more hold and quarantine orders for cannabis flower, shake or pre-rolled joints, an 80 percent failure rate."

How do you avoid smoking moldy w**d? Ask to see the test results...or just ask for Exalted. No mold, guaranteed.

All of our strains pass testing before being sent to dispensaries (*mold testing is not required for medical cannabis in Maine...we test everything anyway). Some dispensaries will ask us to see our test results, but many do not, and some even decline to see the results when we offer. Unfortunately, these dispensaries do not care if your w**d has a good terpene profile or has passed mold testing...they only care if it looks good and smells good, because that's what sells (as does high THC; see: Busta Myth Vol. 2).

Help us move the industry forward and put better, safer flower on the shelves by asking to see test results at your local dispensary.

THC content has nothing to do with how "good" the w**d is, and is a poor indicator of potency. 🌈

*THE WHITE ASH VS BLACK ASH MYTH*

"Contrary to popular belief, the color of the ash when smoking ma*****na does not tell you if it is high or low quality, or if it was flushed and cured properly.

What Is The White Ash vs Black Ash Myth?

People who believe in the myth hold the conviction that when you smoke a joint, and the ash is light grey or white, you are smoking cannabis of very good quality. However, if the ash is black or dark-greyish, the cannabis is of inferior quality, impure, and was likely treated with chemicals.

The Effect Of Combustion On Ash

Combustion plays a big role on the color of ash, and it could explain why your ash is burning white or dark. Research shows that when combustion takes place at a high temperature, organic material is burnt properly leading to a low concentration of nitrogen and by extension, clear ash colors.
On the other hand, when combustion occurs at a low temperature, organic compounds are not properly burnt, thereby leaving darker ash color.
This shows that the color of ash is not an indication of the quality of ma*****na, rather the temperature of combustion."
