We await this harvest every year. It's one of the last things to pick
Best after frost, this Arctic or Hardy Kiwi is smaller and less fuzzy, but no peeling required. Pop in your mouth for a punch of flavor. This was only 3/4 of this year's harvest ( I got tired!)

It's a great perennial vine to grow yet requires patience and proper placement on the land

It takes at least 4 to 5 years for the first fruits to appear, but a full full harvest like this takes 7 to 8.

It also has a very strong rapidly growing vine out of a woody stalk. We grow ours on a huge grounded trellis, and still need to cut it back at least twice a year because I planted them too close to the fence. Left unchecked it can take down a fence or cover a shed

Plant in full sun and water regularly in the growing season. Throw on some compost as the flowers begin to fruit. And let her rip.

It's part of our permaculture designed yard.

I'm enjoying some now in my morning smoothie and will clean to freeze a bunch, just like blueberries, to enjoy all winter long

Next, digging up Jerusalem Artichokes or Sunchokes ( little late)
