✨Welcome Katie ✨

Katie is the newest member of the Saplings team. She comes with a background in nature-based education and years of experience as a preschool teacher. She has a special interest in emotional regulation and emotional intelligence, and loves using play-based therapy to help kids connect to others and themselves. When she isn’t at the clinic, you can find her out on a hike, reading or writing fairytales, or enjoying quality time with her family.

✨ Welcome Jamie ✨

We are so excited to have Jamie join the Saplings team! Jamie brings a background in exercise science and school-based behavioral health to her work as a pediatric occupational therapist. She has experience across a range of ages and settings and takes a play-based, family-centered approach. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys hiking, reading, and cheering on her kids at sporting events.

We are so excited to introduce our occupational therapy fieldwork student for the summer, Alex! We can’t wait to have you at Saplings Occupational Therapy starting next week 😊

“Hi, I’m Alex, a second-year student in the Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at the University of Southern Maine. I completed my undergraduate studies in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Business, at the University of Vermont. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and practicing yoga.”
