✈️ One of our Veterans had the incredible experience of going on a recent Honor Flight Maine trip. We made sure she was sent off in style — complete with a police es**rt to the Portland Jetport! 🚓👏

For Independence Day, our residents got to ride along in the Pine Point Parade. The celebration wrapped up with delicious strawberry shortcake! 🍓

🤝 We recently welcomed our new CEO, Brad Klawitter, with a fun and festive meet and greet! Brad jumped right in—serving up snow cones and popcorn while mingling with residents, families, and staff. It was a great opportunity to get to know our new leader and enjoy some sweet summer treats together.

📬✏️ We helped celebrate the end of the school year by meeting our wonderful 3rd grade pen pals from Holy Cross School, South Portland, Maine!

After months of exchanging letters, it was a joy to meet in person. It was a memorable way to wrap up the school year and build intergenerational friendships. 💌❤️

This was a special Memorial Day weekend moment! One of our resident’s family members brought in their WWII-era Jeep to display in honor of those who served. It was a meaningful tribute and a wonderful conversation piece for residents and staff alike. Thank you for sharing this piece of history with us!

We’re proud to share that our resident, Ross Maddocks, was honored in this year’s Maine Health Care Association (MHCA) Remember ME photography exhibit—a program that celebrates the lives and legacies of Maine’s long-term care residents.

Ross’s story is one of incredible courage, resilience, and service. A U.S. Navy veteran who completed over 160 combat missions in Vietnam, Ross earned two Bronze Stars, a Purple Heart, and a Navy Achievement Medal. After 31 years of service, he continued giving back—as Harbormaster in Boothbay Harbor, a reserve police officer, and a beloved mentor to his family.

From defending his country to guiding future generations, Ross’s legacy is an inspiration to all who know him. We’re honored to celebrate him through this special recognition.

On Memorial Day, residents, families, staff, and community members joined together for a moving ceremony filled with reflection, remembrance, and pride.

Our Veterans proudly participated, waving flags and listening to heartfelt remarks and patriotic music under sunny skies. The program included remarks from speakers, music at the podium, and special moments shared between residents and their loved ones.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a meaningful day of tribute and community. We are forever grateful to those who served and sacrificed. 💙❤️

We brought the sunshine and island spirit to Nursing Home Week with our Summer Luau celebration—complete with leis, tropical drinks, grass skirts, and lots of laughter! 🏖️🍍🌸

Residents and staff had a blast soaking in the good vibes and striking a pose in our beachy photo booth. 📷
