Residents took a trip this weekend to the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport for a trolley ride out to the pumpkin patch! It was a gorgeous fall day and everyone had a wonderful time. The staff at the trolley, especially safety director Phil, was incredibly accomodating and a joy to be around.

We'll be using the pumpkins later for our Anything-But-Carving contest. If you'd like to participate, pumpkins are due by noon on Thursday, October 30. Voting will take place that afternoon and the winner announced on Halloween!

At The Enclave, we truly are a family, and nothing demonstrates that more than how invested our residents are in each other's lives.

In the weeks leading up to her big day, residents were thrilled to help Life Engagement Assistant Alyssa by creating the beautiful centerpieces and labeling her wedding party favors.

Then, earlier this month, the family gathered to witness the celebration! Thanks to Sales Director Nathan, residents had the great pleasure of watching the livestream of Alyssa's beautiful orchard wedding to the love of her life, Charlie. (Special thanks to resident Maureen's daughter, Danielle, for capturing it all in action!)

The celebration continued later that week when Alyssa returned to share her joy—and some delicious treats! She brought in wedding cake alongside mulled cider from the same orchard where she got married.

We took a small group of residents to Portland's International Cryptozoology Museum, and everyone had an absolute blast. It was fascinating to see models of legendary creatures, including werewolves, Mothman, Sasquatch, and more. Stella joked that she'd tell her husband she met her "new boyfriend" while we were there! This small museum was a quick walk through, but well worth the trip.

In keeping with the pumpkin theme, we then made pumpkin-oatmeal cookies from scratch! The smell of these delicious treats wafted throughout the building, drawing many friends to share in our spoils!
