Wherever you go in the world, you’re sure to find an Irish pub!

Staff and residents alike participated in the “wearin’ of the green” for our inaugural St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl. Directors set up mini public houses throughout the building, giving residents plenty of stops to enjoy all afternoon. Island Mike performed a variety of Irish tunes and familiar favorites, while Alyssa handcrafted Irish soda bread scones for a delightful Irish Breakfast Tea. And we can’t forget the lucky tree craft!

May the luck of the Irish be with you always!

Dani from Nappi Distributors joined us for a wine tasting event for National Drink Wine Day. Featuring a variety of wines from La Vielle Ferme, fondly referred to as "the chicken wine," residents tasted new blends and old favorites.

Local Scarborough High student Tess joined us during school vacation last week to show us some juggling and unicycling. Residents were extra impressed when she (with assistance!) climbed up on the Giraffe unicycle & rode around the room!

We hosted our Enclave Winter Olympic Games this week. Ruth & Louie took gold for curling, Mary Jane won gold by a landslide on our ice cube luge track, & Annie & Sam tied for gold on our slopestyle event! We shared so many laughs and enjoyed the discussion of Olympic Games past and present.

We finished up our Valentine's Day celebrations with a delectable meal made by our chef, Kristen! Resident Alan also had a visit from the SPD, who dropped off a special gift for him. We decorated cupcakes with Emma and Sully, and Salem made a surprise visit! So much fun and love going around. 🩷❤️🤍

Everyone loves homemade snacks, especially when they're seasonal. Lilac Trace residents created these beautiful heart-shaped cinnamon-sugar toasted tortillas for their afternoon snack.

Residents & families enjoyed a fancy Valentine tea party this year! With a floral walkway to welcome us in, everyone enjoyed beautiful cupcakes, delectable cheesecake bites, and two choices of Valentine-themed flavors of tea. A cup of tea warms the heart, but sharing it with friends warms the soul!
