On Monday, October 27, our HSM Community Liaisons will be presenting at the Maine Public Health Association’s 2025 Conference in Augusta, Maine. Their panel discussion, titled “Compassion without Conditions: Addressing the Challenges of Providing Hospice Care to Unhoused Individuals,” grew out of recent and ongoing work with Preble Street to care for those individuals who are at end of life and would be considered unhoused or lacking consistent shelter. MPHA’s annual conference is the largest public health gathering in Maine. We are honored to be a part of this major event and to help develop the conversation around this important topic.
