Online Research Study for Children who Stutter – Ages 7-12 years
Researchers in the Department of Communication Science and Disorders at University of Pittsburgh are currently seeking 7–12-year-old children who stutter for an online research study looking at how speech and language learning develops and matures in the brain. All sessions will occur via Zoom. During the study, children will be asked to look at images and listen to sounds as well as complete a set of questionnaires. Parents will also be asked to complete a set of questionnaires.
To participate in this study, children must be primary speakers of English, have hearing within the normal range, and have no cognitive or neurological difficulties.
Children will receive compensation for participating. The study will involve 3 sessions lasting approximately 1-2 hours each and takes place online and when it is convenient.
