We are SO grateful to have this amazingly talented team of humans who have helped make Pause to be Present what it is today…a safe, comfortable, welcoming community that helps busy people thrive and find calm in today’s stressful and noisy world.

For the last six years, our incredible team led by co-founders Cheryl Vigder Brause and Stephanie Sherman Falk have shared their wisdom, tips and teachings through an easy and accessible approach to mindfulness, meditation, and personal growth. We all know that we have a limited time on this earth. The BIG question is…How do we spend the time that we have wisely?

Sound Intruiguing? If so, please join Pause to be Present Book Club Facilitators Lori Rotskoff and Cheryl Vigder Brause for a 4-week exploration of Oliver Burkeman’s new book, "Meditations for Mortals: Four Weeks to Embrace Your Limitations and Make Time for What Counts".

Details for this interactive Book Club Launch:

🗓️: Wednesday evening, April 23rd

⏰: 7:00 - 8:30 PM

📍: Anderson's Books 96 Chatsworth Avenue, Larchmont, NY(Can’t attend in person? No worries! This session will be recorded and shared on-demand for those who can’t make it!)

WHAT: Each registered participant will receive a copy of the 📕, have a chance to mingle, browse the bookstore shelves, and enjoy🍷☕️ and light desserts 🍪before we settle in for the presentation, interactive discussion, and a brief, relaxing meditation.

THEN…We will be off on our exploration of Burkeman’s book that is organized as short chapters to be read each day with inspiration on how we can meet each day differently. Midway through the 28-day program, participants will receive an email “check-in” message inviting them to reflect on their experience thus far.

FINALLY…The program will conclude on Wednesday, May 21 at 4 pm with an ONLINE session where we will discuss key takeaways from the book, share reflections, and focus on how we can continue to integrate Burkeman’s meditations into our lives so we can make the most of our precious time! 🙏🏻

Our Story - Pause

Mindfulness has made such an impact in our lives – so much so that we wanted to share this transformative practice with as many people as possible! It has helped us in our relationships, parenting, business and most importantly, with ourselves and how we choose to live our lives. We have seen an incredible group of like-minded people connect through this practice and are thrilled to create a dedicated space for this growing community to gather and pause together.

At Pause, we have created a space where you can take time out of your busy life to simply “be”… a place where you can find a more peaceful, joy-filled, healthier way of living through the powerful practice of Mindfulness.

Mindfulness works. It can change your life. Our goal is to share with you ways to be truly present and awake for your life. With over a decade of experience teaching, we have found easy and accessible ways to bring these ancient practices into our modern lives to help people not only cope but thrive!
