Same women. Different decades. Still undeniably beautiful.

Somewhere along the way, we were taught that aging should disappear. That getting older means looking worse. That the goal is to look frozen in time.

But beauty standards change every decade.
Faces do not stop changing just because trends do.

Most people do not want to look younger than they are.
They want to look like themselves.
Rested. Healthy. Taken care of.

Aging is not the problem.
The pressure to look ageless is.

Do the corners of your mouth make you look sad or tired, even when you’re not?

That line is usually caused by descending cheek fat, not your mouth. But for some people, it’s actually a muscle (the depressor anguli oris) pulling the corner down.

For those patients, Botox (three or four units per side) solves it.

Early plastic surgery in the 1960s reflected both medical advancement and changing social attitudes toward appearance, driven by postwar technological progress and growing cultural emphasis on youth and beauty.

Surgeons refined techniques developed during World War II for reconstructive purposes, such as skin grafting and facial repair, and increasingly adapted them for cosmetic procedures including rhinoplasty, facelifts, and breast augmentation.

Silicone implants, introduced in the early 1960s, marked a major turning point, though safety standards and long-term studies were still limited.

Procedures were often invasive by modern standards, with longer recovery times and greater risks, yet demand grew as anesthesia, surgical tools, and antiseptic practices improved.

While still somewhat discreet and limited to wealthier patients, plastic surgery in the 1960s helped normalize the idea that surgical alteration could be used not only to restore function but also to enhance appearance, shaping the modern cosmetic surgery industry.

Have you been working out consistently but your chest still doesn’t look the way you want it to?

That’s usually gynecomastia. Enlarged breast tissue in men that creates a softer, fuller chest contour. And here’s the frustrating part: you can’t exercise it away.

Gynecomastia can develop during puberty, from hormonal changes, weight fluctuations, or certain medications. Once that glandular tissue forms, it’s there to stay unless it’s surgically removed.

Male breast reduction removes the excess tissue and fat to create a flatter, more defined chest. The scarring is minimal (usually just around the ar**la), and most guys are back to normal activity within a week or two.

The difference isn’t just physical. It’s the freedom to wear what you want, do what you want, and stop constantly thinking about how your chest looks.

If you’ve been dealing with this and it’s affecting your confidence or how you show up in your own life, let’s talk about it.

I turn people away all the time.

Not everyone who wants surgery should get it. Sometimes expectations aren’t realistic. Sometimes there’s a better non-surgical option. Sometimes I just don’t think it’s the right call.

But when someone comes in with a clear goal, realistic expectations, and they genuinely want it for themselves? I’m not going to tell them they don’t “need” it.

The consultation is where we figure out if what you’re asking for makes sense. Not whether you’re “worthy” of wanting it.

Here’s the thing about implant sizing: bigger isn’t always better, and smaller isn’t always more natural. It’s about what fits your frame, your chest width, and your goals.

A 110cc implant on one person might be perfect. On someone else, it might not create enough change to justify surgery. That’s why we don’t pick sizes based on what sounds good.
We look at your actual measurements and figure out what makes sense for your body.

If you’ve been thinking about augmentation but worried that all implants will look “too much,” know that subtle options exist.

Before & after abdominal liposuction. 1 month post-op.

Look at the difference in contour and definition. This is what happens when you remove the fat that’s been resistant to everything else you’ve tried.

Lipo isn’t a shortcut or a replacement for a healthy lifestyle. It’s a tool for addressing stubborn fat deposits that don’t respond to diet or exercise.

For this patient, that was her midsection. The result? A smoother, more defined abdomen and waistline that actually reflects the work she’s been putting in at the gym.

Most people are surprised by how manageable the recovery is. You’ll be sore and swollen initially, but most patients are back to light activity within a few days and see continuous improvement over the next few months.

If you’re frustrated with an area that won’t change no matter what you do, it’s worth having a conversation about whether lipo makes sense for you.

Ballerina implants. Yoga b***s. Whatever you want to call them. The trend has a name now, but the concept isn’t new.

It’s about creating a natural, athletic look with subtle upper pole fullness and a teardrop shape. Think more tone and proportion, less obvious augmentation.

This style works well for patients who want enhancement but don’t want their breasts to be the first thing people notice. The goal is balance.

What makes this different from traditional augmentation? Usually it’s about implant placement (often under the muscle), moderate sizing that suits your frame, and choosing a profile that creates slope rather than dramatic roundness.

Not everyone’s a candidate for this look, and not everyone wants it. But if you’ve been searching for “natural breast augmentation” or wondering how to get enhancement without looking obviously augmented, this is the conversation.
