GROUPS, GROUPS, and MORE GROUPS!

In addition to our ongoing Nourish and Reclaim Group (2 Saturdays per month at 11am in person and virtual) and our ongoing Adult Group for Emotional Eating (2 Tuesday evenings per month at 7pm in person and virtual), we now have NEW groups starting:
• ADOLESCENT COPING SKILLS GROUP - this is 8 sessions and led virtually by Eric Subido twice per month on Mondays or Thursdays from 630-745pm.
• PARENT COACHING & SUPPORT GROUP- this is 6 sessions and led virtually by Kerri Anderson twice per month on Saturdays at 1pm or Tuesdays at 1230pm.

What began as Herstory on a Plate has grown into something deeper. As our conversations evolved, so did our mission.

I am not unpatriotic. What I am is unconsolable. What the hell happened to checks and balances and separation of powers?! I held these magical concepts as the truth since I learned them in elementary school. I wonder if the 249 year experiment is indeed over.

In the words of Earl Warren, the famous Supreme Court Chief Justice, “If we really love this country, if we truly love justice and mercy, if we reverently want to make this nation better for those who follow us, then we can at least admonish the hatred that consumes people, the false accusations that divide us, and the bitterness that begets violence.”
