Dr. Eric Small is nationally recognized for his expertise in Sports Medicine. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedics, and Pediatric Medicine at Mt. Dr. Small has been listed as a “Best Sports Medicine Doctor” Westchester Magazine, New York Magazine, and New York Metro since 2007. He treats and manages all musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions: sprains, dislocations, ligament injuries, fractures, and tendonitis, overuse injuries, sports concussions, stress fractures, dance injuries, exercise induced asthma, and complex regional pain syndrome. Dr. Small specializes in primary care Sports Medicine and has successfully treated professional, college, and high school athletes in every major sport. He has appeared many times on television and is frequently quoted by national publications. He is the author of "Kids & Sports". Dr. Small is former chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Sports Medicine and Fitness. He received his BS in Biology from Haverford College. Dr. Small completed two sports medicine fellowships:
- McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, studying exercise medicine, exercise testing for elite athletes, and chronic medical conditions in athletes.
-Primary care sports medicine and dance medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Small plays competitive tennis player and a workout enthusiast. He has four sons, who have all played varsity college sports in baseball or tennis. They remain injury free.

Dr. Small specializes in primary care Sports Medicine and has successfully treated professional, college, and high school athletes in every major sport. Dr. Small is school physician for many local schools and colleges. He has appeared many times on television and is frequently quoted by national publications. Dr. Small is the author of "Kids & Sports". Dr. Small is former chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Sports Medicine and Fitness.

Dr. Small received his BS in biology from Haverford College where he played varsity tennis. Dr. Small’s two youngest sons currently play college baseball. They all remain uninjured.
