Welcome to the new Giuseppe La Spina MD page! For many years, Facebook has been used as an avenue to connect people and that is the intention of this page. Everybody should have a primary care physician that they can rely on, and Dr. La Spina is that physician you can count on. Dr. La Spina completed residency training at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham, Alabama. He is capable of treating the entire family and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. La Spina treats acute illness and has expertise in treating chronic conditions including but not limited to high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, etc. Dr. La Spina is also capable of performing clinical procedures in the office including joint injections, trigger points, cryosurgery, and skin biopsies.
