If you’ve had surgery with us there’s a good chance you met Dan and got to experience the most wonderful nap you can get 😴. He worked with my Dad for 40 years and with me 10, but he’s always been a part of my life. He taught me about Bob Seger and Steely Dan, and I taught him about Travis Scott and hot girl summer 😂. Yesterday was his last day with us as moves on to retire!! I know I’ll keep seeing him, but we are all a bit emotional that he won’t regularly be a big part of our weeks anymore. So I wanted to give him a shout out and say WE WILL MISS YOU DAN!!♥️♥️

Revisional surgery is always more involved than typical surgery. This is because we can’t account for exactly what the first surgeon did. Sometimes there are anatomical structures that were removed, tendons that were cut, scar tissue, or hardware left inside. All of these can create little wild cards for us when we are in surgery. This is why I tell revisional surgery patients that I will never be able to give them a perfect result, but one that is much better than the one that they have now.
