The first patient of the PRESERVE study (Pivotal Study of the NanoKnife System for Ablation of Prostate Tissue in an Intermediate-Risk Patient Population) has been treated. Led by Dr. Jonathan Coleman at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dr. Arvin George at the University of Michigan, this trial will evaluate the use of AngioDynamics’ NanoKnife System for ablation of prostate tissue as a focal therapy option for prostate cancer patients.
