The Autism Society Greater Hudson Region is a collective of individuals dedicated to providing resources and opportunities to individuals with autism and their families in the 21 counties we serve. Our board, staff, and volunteers include individuals with Autism, family members, and professionals who work with ASD populations. Our mission: We create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. We promote lifelong access and opportunities for people on the Autism spectrum and their families, so they can be fully participating, included members of their communities. We do this through advocacy, public awareness, education, and compassionate support. Our vision: Creating a world where everyone in the Autism community is connected to the support they need, when they need it. We act as a voice and resource for everyone who interacts with the Autism community in the Greater Hudson Region. Locally, we are developing new programming and services to provide more support to our autism community. Statewide, we will be the driving force behind the development of a network of resources that promotes quality of life and opportunities for positive social experiences. Our Community
The Autism Society Greater Hudson Region is dedicated to serving the needs of the Autism community in the Greater Hudson Region of Eastern, New York. We are often the first point of contact for families that are new to this area and looking for resources. Through our own programming and referral to other local organizations, we help people on the autism spectrum and their families feel supported and find caring communities. We serve the following 21 counties in the Greater Hudson Region of New York State:

🚨 Attention Drivers & Teams – Pole Position Details 🚨

We want EVERYONE on the same page with how the Pole Position will be awarded at The 4th Annual Upstate Chevy Dealers Autism Acceptance Race at Albany-Saratoga Speedway 🏁

πŸ‘‰ Here’s how it works:

All drivers who were registered & paid by Friday, August 29th are eligible. (That’s 44 drivers this year!)

At the Pole Award Table (in the Autism Area on the grass), fans, teams, and supporters can make blind donations in the name of their favorite driver.

Donations will be accepted until 6:30 PM.

Around 7:00 PM, after all donations are counted, the driver who brought in the most charitable donations will be announced as the Pole Sitter.

ALL donations go directly to autism charities ❀️Racers For Autism, Bring On The Spectrum, and The Autism Society Greater Hudson Region, NY

The winning driver does not have to run heats (if they choose not to).

All drivers will still run Hot Laps/Time Trials prior to the Pole Award announcement.

This process is subject to change if needed.
