✨ A Breakthrough Moment in the North Country! ✨🚲😭

Sometimes the most important "results" of our work don't happen on a spreadsheet or in a boardroom—they happen right before our eyes in the most joyful, unexpected ways! 🌈✨ Our Regional Manager and Education Specialist, Tina Beauparlant, shared this absolutely incredible story from her workshop this evening:

> "This evening was the perfect ending to an already full day. 🌙 I hosted an education records organizer workshop along with a Special Education Q&A: Come Ask the Advocate session. 📝💡 A few parents brought their children, and while we were deep in conversation, something unforgettable happened. ✨

> One parent’s young son—who had never ridden a bike before—rolled out on a little bike with training wheels. 🚲 She didn’t think he could do it. None of us expected what happened next. He started pedaling… and he just went! 🏃‍♂️💨

> His mom was in tears. 😭 We were all in tears. It was one of those pure, joyful moments that reminds you exactly why this work matters. ❤️🙌

> It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes the breakthroughs happen when we least expect them—and they deserve to be celebrated! 🎉🥳"
>

At Parent to Parent of NYS, we are here to help with the records, the advocacy, and the paperwork—but we are also here to witness and celebrate these huge milestones with you! 🚲💙💪
Check out the video below to see this amazing breakthrough! 🎥👇 (Shared with full parental permission).

🚜 Tina’s North Country Tour: The Quest Continues! 🗺️

Our Regional Manager and Education Specialist, Tina Beauparlant, is still hitting the pavement! Today was a powerhouse day of connection, collaboration, and one incredibly heart-warming surprise. 🚗💨

🏥 Strengthening Public Health Ties
Tina started the morning with a fantastic meeting with Lisa Lagos and Allison Roselle from the Jefferson County Public Health Service Department. They had a deep-dive conversation about the impact of our P2P, F2F, and PTIC programs and, more importantly, the real day-to-day needs of local families. It was a meeting full of energy and new possibilities! 💡🤝 Jefferson County Public Health Service

🌳 Connecting with Early Learners
Next stop: The Tree House Child Center UPK program. Tina connected with Autumn Weaver to discuss how we can better support their youngest learners and their families. We are already looking forward to future collaborations here! 🏫🍎

❤️ A Moment of Connection
The highlight of the day? A surprise encounter! Tina crossed paths with a parent she had supported over the phone just two days prior. Getting to meet in person and hear how much that support meant is exactly why we do this work. It’s all about making sure no parent feels alone. ❤️💪

🛣️ One More Day to Go!
Think she’s done? Not yet! Tina has one final day of outreach tomorrow before she wraps up her journey through farm country. 🏁
Check back tomorrow to see the grand finale of Tina’s Trek! 🚜🌾🙌

🚜 Tina’s North Country Tour: Day 3 Recap! 🗺️

Our Regional Manager and Education Specialist, Tina Beauparlant, is still going strong on her outreach trek! April 29th was a day full of heart, reminding us all why this work is so vital. From high-level brainstorming to personal calls with families, Tina is making every mile count. 🚗💨

🤝 Partnerships & New Beginnings
The day was all about connecting with key leaders in Jefferson County to bridge the gap for our families:

• 🏠 Children’s Home of Jefferson County: Tina had an inspiring sit-down with COO Brook Rose. They connected instantly, and we are so excited for the meaningful collaborations ahead! 🌟

• 🏛️ Jefferson County Community Services: Met with Jerilyn Steria (EI to CPSE) to brainstorm ways we can support one another’s efforts. Another strong partnership in the making! 🤝

• 🧠 RKA Psychological Services: A quick stop to drop off resources, ensuring families have access to support right where they are. 📄✨

🎒 Community Spirit at Indian River CSD
The day wrapped up with a burst of energy at Calcium Primary School! Tina attended the Exceptional Skills Night, hosted by Lisa Donelsin (Parent Liaison with Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES). It was a beautiful night full of families and community spirit! 🎈🏫

❤️ Keeping it Personal
In between the driving and the meetings, Tina made sure to return phone calls to our families. 📞 those one-on-one conversations are the heartbeat of what we do—they ground us and remind us exactly who we are doing this for.
Tina’s journey continues through Thursday! Stay tuned for her final updates! 🛣️🙌
