🌸 National Flower Day at The Legacy 🌸

Yesterday, March 21st, Kay Maddox’s family and their church blessed our community with beautiful fresh flowers planted in our courtyard for spring 🌷

They also spent time with our Connections residents playing games and sharing smiles 💛

🍀💚 Our Legacy Leprechauns had an Irishly good time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 💚🍀

With green beer, green wine, green cupcakes, and traditional Irish soda bread, it was a festive day full of smiles, laughter, and sweet treats.

We were blessed this week to welcome Father Octavio from Good Shepherd Church to The Legacy at Forest Ridge. During his visit, he offered the Anointing of the Sick for our Catholic residents as we continue through the Lenten season.

Moments like these bring comfort, peace, and spiritual support to our residents, and we are grateful for the wonderful partnership we share with our local church community. ✝️🙏

Today our Connections residents enjoyed a special outing to Luby’s Cafeteria, a true Texas staple!

If you grew up in San Antonio, you know Luby’s brings back so many memories. Our residents were thrilled to enjoy a classic meal and reminisce about all the times they’ve been there over the years. 💛

Miss Ann has always had a heart for children. ❤️

From helping care for her siblings growing up, to babysitting, and eventually becoming an educator, caring for young minds has always been part of her life.

Today, through our partnership with Primrose Daycare just up the hill from The Legacy at Forest Ridge, Miss Ann has become their honorary grandmother. She loves reading with the children and sharing her kindness with the next generation.
