Today the residents opened Christmas gifts donated by staff and community members. We are truly blessed to have Angels bless our staff. Each residents received a gift.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Colonial Care Schulenburg.
Here is tree #1, first of many. Several of our residents had a hand in helping and it was so amazing. We are truly a family orientated facility.

In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released rules requiring staff at healthcare facilities to be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022, with some exceptions for medical or religious reasons.

We have created a robust strategy for adhering to the new guidelines which include employee education, updated policies and procedures, additional vaccine clinics, and accommodations for those receiving the required vaccinations. Our first responsibility will continue to be to our residents, communities, and employees.

As policies are updated, we will continue to share additional details about our requirements and expectations, and as well as take all necessary precautions to promote the health and safety of our residents and employees alike.
