Meet "Arnie" - He isn't just an office pet; he is an intrigral part of our operation and the vast services offered.
Research shows that therapy dogs at funerals aren’t just comforting, they can physiologically help families through grief. Studies on human–animal interaction reveal that simply petting a calm dog lowers blood pressure, decreases cortisol (the stress hormone), and releases oxytocin, the same hormone that builds trust and connection.
At a funeral, emotions run high. Having a therapy dog present offers a grounding point. People who might not feel comfortable talking about their grief often find it easier to let down their guard with a dog beside them. Children process loss more openly, and adults describe the presence of a dog as a reminder that life still holds gentleness even in the hardest moments.
