Healing often begins when you allow yourself to fully feel your emotions. It can feel easier to just push away or ignore those emotions, but those emotions are still there, they don’t disappear. By allowing your mind a chance to feel these emotions, you give yourself the chance to process what you have been carrying. Feeling is not a weakness, it is an opportunity for growth.

Helping people find their way since...

Compass Counseling officially launched in April, 2018. Compass Counseling exists to help you find your way through the challenges you face. While it launched in April, it has been a long time in the making. As long as I can remember, people around me have been drawn to me to talk through any struggles they may be going through. This first led me into pastoral ministry, which I enjoyed greatly, but realized over time that it was the personal, one-on-one aspects of ministry that I saw the most change through. I connected with people and watched as God changed their lives!

I soon began to feel that I needed to pursue further education in the counseling field, and God gave me the dream of launching Compass Counseling. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling in 2014 and have been pursuing this dream ever since. There have been challenges toward reaching my dreams, but God has helped me along the way. Now I dream of helping you reach yours through His power.
