Today, Evan, Mitch, and Julie stopped by just to drop off tomato pie for our team 🍅

A simple gesture but if you know them, you know it’s never just that.

This is a family that shows up, not just today, and not just for one cause but for anyone in the community who needs support, love, or a helping hand.

They are incredible advocates for the Down syndrome and disability community but more than that, they are the kind of people who quietly make the world better, one act of kindness at a time.

We’re so grateful for you and so lucky to call you part of our Skippack family.

Recently, Dr. Mak was honored as a Knight of Honor — a recognition celebrating individuals who make a lasting impact in their community.

During his speech, he reflected on something powerful:
that none of us reach milestones like this alone.

Throughout the speech he spoke about the many “Knights” who surrounded him along the way…teachers, mentors, family members, volunteers, and community leaders who helped shape the journey.

From organizing community vaccination clinics…
to building Skippack Pharmacy around the idea of service…
this recognition represents the power of a community coming together.

Thank you State Rep. Matt Bradford for recognizing this incredible community effort.

What started as a simple idea... helping neighbors prepare for a winter storm... turned into something much bigger.

Together, community donations combined with a contribution from Skippack Pharmacy allowed us to support So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe PA, a local café that creates meaningful employment opportunities for people of all abilities.

We are so proud of our community for coming together to support such an amazing mission. 💙

Let's take the next step & go out and support them by dining at their cafe when able!

This is the ultimate example of a community working together to help each other.

Back in January, Skippack Pharmacy donated 50,000 lbs of salt to neighbors ahead of a winter storm. Not only did Dr. Mak recognize a need to help the community prepare for the weather, but he also turned it into an opportunity for the community to give back by collecting donations for So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe PA when neighbors came to the pharmacy to get salt. The community donated $5,000!

We joined Skippack Pharmacy as they presented a check to the cafe, which employs people of all abilities, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity for a fulfilling job.

I’m so grateful that we have incredible local businesses who do so much to support our neighbors and I’m proud of the Skippack Township, Pennsylvania community for coming together to donate money to support a local business.

This is the future of pharmacy.

For the past five weeks, Andy, a pharmacy student from Temple University School of Pharmacy has been here at Skippack Pharmacy learning.

One thing we quickly noticed about him: when it gets close to closing time, Andy isn’t looking at the clock. He’s looking around asking what he can do to help. He’s always willing to stay and do whatever is needed to get the job done and take care of people.

The other night, an antibiotic came in late for a senior who couldn’t leave their home. We were 10 minutes from closing and planned to deliver it the next morning.

Andy simply said, “I’ll take it tonight.”

After we closed, he drove it to the patient’s home so they could start their medication right away.

That’s not in the description of what a pharmacy student is expected to do. But Andy went above and beyond the call of duty simply because he cared.

Over the past five weeks he came here to learn, but he reminded all of us what it truly means to go the extra mile for a patient.

Today is Andy’s last day with us. We wish him the very best and hope to see him back at Skippack Pharmacy again soon. 💙
